NEW PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION
The following has been attributed to State Representative Mitchell Kaye from GA. This guy should run for President one day…
“We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish somecommon sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other liberal bed-wetters. We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights.”
ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.
ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone — not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.; but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.
ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.
ARTICLE IV: You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes .
ARTICLE V: You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we’re just not interested in public health care.
ARTICLE VI: You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don’t be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.
ARTICLE VII: You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don’t be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won’t have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.
ARTICLE VIII: You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful. (AMEN!)
ARTICLE IX: You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.
ARTICLE X: This is an English speaking country. We don’t care where you are from, English is our language. Learn it or go back to wherever you came from! (Lastly….)
ARTICLE XI: You do not have the right to change our country’s history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history, and if you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!
If you agree, share this with a friend. No, you don’t have to, and nothing tragic will befall you if you don’t. I just think it’s about time common sense is allowed to flourish. Sensible people of the United States speak out because if you do not, who will?

The attacks continue against Sarah Palin. Not even a week ago, I watched as thousands cheered the approaching bus, Straight Talk Express, carrying Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, to a rally in Ocala, FL.
Today, as I predicted, the McCain campaign has thrown Sarah under that same bus. As I mentioned the other day, Newsweek listed the Palin selection as the number one mistake McCain made. Yesterday, Carl Cameron from the “fair and balanced” FOX News Network, couldn’t contain himself as he excitedly quoted “unnamed sources” in the McCain campaign saying Palin lacked “a degree of knowledgeability necessary to be a running mate.” Yes, this is the same Carl Cameron who, the weekend before the 2000 election, decided to break the story of a DUI Bush received 16 years previous. It didn’t matter that GWB had given up drinking primarily as a result of that, the 16 year old story was an election eve hit piece designed to head the weekend news cycle. Thank you FOX News.
It is my belief that Sarah Palin is the key to the future of the Republican Party. She espouses the cultural and social values and ideas that americans are looking for. For this reason, the media elites, the “old republican establishment,” and yes, the democrats, must derail this threat now. Why else would they bother with these baseless attacks?
Now I heard reports on the local radio station this morning, that the republican party has dispatched a team to Alaska to take back the clothes they bought for Palin and her family. You remember the clothes they made the palins wear so they could look, “more sophisticated.” Now if this is true, it is the lowest form of callousness I have ever seen. I suppose after they take the clothes, they will auction them on Ebay.
Sarah Palin was the spark that helped McCain get as close as he did. That cannot be more clear. From the moment she was named, McCain’s poll numbers went up, passing Obama by 8 points after the convention. It was McCain’s campaign strategists that mismanaged this valuable asset, setting her up for attack. Then they have the audacity to blame her!
When Sarah Palin returned to Anchorage late Wednesday night, she held a press conference. Her response to these attacks was, “It’s politics. … It’s rough and tumble and you’ve got to have thick skin just like I’ve got.”
Perhaps John McCain should have made it a prerequisite for his campaign staff to read his book, Character is Destiny: Inspiring Stories Every Young Person Should Know and Every Adult Should Remember.” John McCain should do what he has always claimed to do, defend the innocent. Mr. McCain, get out there and repudiate these vicious attacks and defend the one who kept you from being a total failure. It’s time to get Sarah out from under the Straight Talk Express and throw your campaign staff and perhaps yourself under it once and for all.

Well, just as I predicted, the left, the media, and the elite republicans are blaming McCain’s defeat on Sarah Palin. How long will it take for McCain campaign staffers to jump on this bandwagon?
Newsweek is out with an opinion article this week entitled “Worst Campaign Ever?” It claims that McCain’s first mistake was to name Sarah Palin to the ticket. A friend of mine called me last night to tell me they were attacking Palin on CNN last night.
What follows is a very poignant piece I came across today by Larry Anderson. What more can I add?
How does the Republican Party pick its candidates? Settle back my dear friends, I’ll tell you a true story.

Well, It comes as no great surprise, that americans have elected the first “American Idol” as president. After all, we are a nation devoid of substance. The generation that understands hard work, sacrifice, and self motivation has been replaced by the “its all about me” hedonists who’s major concerns are who is getting thrown off Survivor, or who is winning American Idol. Gone is the generation that although they hated war, fought it and fought it to win when our nation and the world was threatened. Gone is the generation that understands the difference between a leader and an performer, so much that they will put an unexperienced Marxist in charge, because “He’s for Change.”
So this is what we have come to. A generation with so little knowledge in our constitutional government, that we elect a man who intends, through judicial appointment, to re-write the constitution with little input from the electorate. A generation that could care less about the world threats to our existence. A generation that just wants to “feel good” without experiencing any discomforts or challenges. A generation thats thinks it’s unfair to be prosperous. A generation that expects Obama to pay for their gas and rent.
Republicans were trounced in this election and they have only themselves to blame. Since 1994 when the nation gave republicans the sweeping control of congress, republicans have done everything they could to distance themselves from conservatism, the very thing that got them elected. President Bush has played no small role in what we have today. He was given 2 terms and other than fighting the war on terror and keeping our homeland safe from further attack, he has governed like a democrat. This liberalism has so infected the republican party elite and leaders, that we end up with John McCain, another republican who is more comfortable with liberal democrats then with conservatives.
Don’t Blame Sarah Palin. She was the only one true conservative in the race. The democrats were terrified of her because she stood for what america wants. That’s why they never attacked her record, but rather went after her character in a demeaning and despicable way.
I have to leave for work. More later. Just remember conservatism is not dead. When true conservatives run, they win. Hold on to your wallets.

At all costs, VOTE! Let no excuse keep you from voting.
The press has already begun in their attempts to discourage McCain voters from voting. Every presidential election year, two little towns in New Hampshire, consisting of 115 citizens, vote after midnight on election day. These towns have voted and Obama got more votes than McCain. As I recall, these towns went for George H. W. Bush in 1992, but Clinton won.
The drumbeat of “landslide” has begun and will continue throughout the day.
If you want to keep your sanity, keep the news OFF and make every effort to vote.

Today, I went with my wife and daughter to Ocala to a Sarah Palin rally. This woman has got it going on. It is amazing to me that Sarah Palin is out there every day talking to hugh crowds, while the gaff machine, Joe Biden has to be kept under wraps so as to not further damage the Obama campaign.
I am convinced that had John McCain picked any one else as his running mate, his campaign would be over. How many times did you hear names like Tom Ridge, Rudi Guliani, Mitt Romney? All picks of the republican party elites. John McCain owes the fact that he could win this thing to Sarah Palin. And don’t ever forget that. Should McCain loose, the republicans and the media will blame the loss on Palin. They will never admit that the largest government spending spree in history occurred by the party that ran on smaller government and decreased spending.
You will be bombarded right up till the very end of election day with reports of Obama’s command in swing states and polls. Ignore it! Vote and keep this Marxist out of power!
Some photos from today. Click to enlarge.

Zogby’s one day poll for yesterday, Friday October 31st has McCain up 48 to 47 percent! DON’T for one minute believe the pundits and think this race is over! People’s eyes are being open. The “Evita Paron” hysteria over Obama is fading as people realize he has very little substance and what substance he does have, is dangerous.
Americans are beginning to realize that an Obama presidency would bring change alright but change we would rather do without.
Remember, VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! You can ill afford not to. Find a way to get to the polls. Obama and his Marxist agenda can be stopped!

I saw this posted today, author unknown, and thought it was very enlightening.
Perhaps the U.S. should pull out of Chicago?
Body count:
In the last six months:
292 killed (murdered) in Chicago;
221 killed in Iraq.
Chicago…. Who Runs it:
Senators: Barack Obama & Dick Durbin
Rep: Jesse Jackson Jr.,
Illinois Gov: Rod Blogojevich,
Illinois House leader Mike Madigan,
Illinois Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike),
Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley)
…Our leadership in Illinois…all Democrats.
Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago.
Of course, they’re all blaming each other!
Can’t blame Republicans; there are none!
State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country.
Cook County (Chicago) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. (Look
‘em up if you want)
Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country.
This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois.
And he’s gonna ‘fix’ Washington politics for us?
Wake Up America!
